LS Alternator Type 2 Power Steering Street Rod High Mount DD-LS-SR-ALT-PS-2-CM Street Rod alternator and power steering bracket for 1997-2015 LS Gen III/IV engines with Camaro, Firebird and GTO spacing. This billet aluminum bracket fits small case 2000-2013 Vortec truck or 1998-2002 Camaro/GTO alternators. CNC machined from 1/2" thick 6061-T6 aircraft billet aluminum on a precision vertical CNC milling center to 3/8 thickness. Fits very close to the stock throttle body and will not clear electronic throttle bodies that extend out the driver's side. This bracket is for type 2 power steering pumps. Must use stock low height factory valve covers and trim the front edge of the coil bracket to clear the back of the alternator. * Requires using a small billet power steering pump pulley. * Kit is complete with all 6061-T6 billet aluminum CNC lathe machined spacers, grade 8 allen zinc coated bolts, and stainless washers. * Includes idler pulley kit. * Designed to fit LS alternators- 1998-2002 Camaro and small case 2000-2013 LS Vortec Truck. * Designed to use a 1998-02 Camaro power steering pump and billet small diameter pulley. * Can be used with aftermarket power steering pump reservoir, or a remote reservoir with billet return fitting.
