The Frontline Leader

Business planning traditionally commenced from a known base of fact and assumptions and with a reasonably accurate expectation of the future, at least in the short-term. Not any longer. The global marketplace is now awash with uncertainty and the studied deliberations of the boardroom have been replaced by the rapid analysis and decision making of a war room mentality. Survival demands constant flexibility and adaptability and an awareness that the key players must be equipped and resourced to meet ever-changing operational pressures. It follows that these key players must be carefully selected and developed to a high level of competence. Experience tells us that the operational frontline is the focus for the sustained achievement of profit, as well as for effective service and product delivery.
